SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER 2018

It feels incredibly cliched to begin each blog with a variation of "we've been too busy to blog"; but we genuinely have! All of a sudden, summer has gone, the students have all returned and Autumn has arrived, along with many changes around our office space, both internally and externally!

We had an amazing experience working with EWTN during the World Meeting of Families. From broadcasting live events outdoors in the RDS for their American station to working with their English, German and Spanish presenters for live broadcasts from Croke Park and Phoenix Park, it was both a privilege and a pleasure to spend that week with them all.

We went almost straight from the WMOF week into recording and streaming the Maynooth University graduations, and then into preparations for our newest batch of M.U. students and our yearly TYTV studio programming, with a minor overhaul of our TV Studio - new cameras, new mixers, and new studio props too!

We also had the pleasure of working with Social Justice Ireland again, live streaming their 2019 Budget Response, which you can watch online here and we look forward to working with them again in November for their annual conference from Croke Park.

Our radio team have been out on the road a lot recently too, across the country from Trinity College to Armagh Church, Ashbourne to Limerick, and Offaly inbetween! You can listen back to some of their broadcasts here.

We have the pleasure of visiting our neighbouring parish of Clane & Rathcoffey for our live TV Mass for Mission Sunday on October 21st, which promises to be a beautiful liturgy in celebration of Missionary work around the world. If you miss it live, you can catch it on the rte player for 21 days after it is broadcast.

Other than that, it's all been quiet for us (!), aside from the builders next door demolishing the beautiful trees that have surrounded us for the last 30+ years. There's a new housing development being built nearby; so the views from the office are changing daily.

Looking toward November, we have the pleasure of working with Maynooth University again on their November Graduation ceremonies, and we're especially looking forward to our broadcast for Armstice Sunday to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI from Enniskillen.

So here's to another busy month, but hopefully we'll find a bit more time to blog before it ends!
