FEBRUARY/MARCH 2019

There's far too many of these blogs starting with  "we've been too busy to blog", so apologies in advance for typing a variation on that theme again but.....!

January 2019 has flown by, as has February, and with March rapidly approaching, a fresh blog is well over-due! This will be a rather short summation, as this week we have 5 days of both TY and Maynooth Uni students in the building as well as ongoing edits; so it's tricky to find the time to type for long!

January and February were been somewhat "quieter" months than the few months before the new year began.... and by "quieter", we mean we finally found a few days during which to revamp the TV studio somewhat; adding some extra green-screen facilities to it, building 2 new sets and a raised stage area, all before the TY and Maynooth Uni. students returned after their Christmas breaks!

We were delighted to welcome back Gerry Nelson and Crossing the Line productions as they filmed some more interviews in our studios for their incredible programme on the history of hurling, The Game.

Seamus edited 2 new episodes of Peadar King's wonderful TV series "What In The World" which will air soon on RTÉ, as well as shooting and editing several short videos for Knock Shrine as they celebrate their 140th year; oh, and he also shot and edited several of the new promotional videos for St. Patrick's College Maynooth as they promote their college courses for the new group of CAO students.

We also worked with Social Justice Ireland in February, and the wonderful Philip Barrett of blackshapes.com, who live-drew the morning's key points; as we live-streamed the "Measuring Progress" seminar from Dublin on February 22nd. You can watch back the events of the morning as it was streamed on the Social Justice youtube channel.

We're also working closely with St. Patrick's Church in Strandhill, Sligo for our RTÉ St. Patrick's day broadcast in March, and on top of that
, we'll be re-launching our website too - I'm sure we'll add a few more words to this blog then!
